Abstract: This dataset is the soil type map of Bhutan. It represents the occurrence and distribution of different types of soils in Bhutan. The soil types listed in it are based on the World Reference Based (WRB) classification system of soil classification.
Purpose: The purpose of this dataset is to provide spatial information on distribution and classification of different types of soils in Bhutan.
Credits: This dataset is produced with funding support from the Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB) and Asian Food & Agriculture Cooperation Initiative (AFACI) of Rural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea and with technical support from Global Soil Partnership (GSP) of Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN).
