Abstract: This dataset is the soil texture map of Bhutan. It represents the occurrence and distribution of different types of soil texture in Bhutan. The USDA system of soil texture classification was used to classify different types of soil texture.
Purpose: The purpose of this dataset is to provide spatial information on types of soil texture in Bhutan.
Credits: This dataset is produced with funding support from the Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB) and Asian Food & Agriculture Cooperation Initiative (AFACI) of Rural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea and with technical support from Global Soil Partnership (GSP) of Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN).
